Halloween is just around the corner…ok, not around the corner, but people tend to prepare with months now for events and holidays like this. So we thought why not start early too, with something Shelltember inspired!

I was talking with Dave about what to build for Halloween and he suggested a spider. I had a recent Hornet from Hollow Knight I made for Shelltember on my desk, and the red shell looked somewhat like a spider’s body. And this is where the build started.

Ah, and before you ask - this is a regular cute black spider, but he’s wearing a Spider-Man costume. This makes him a Spider-Man Spider, or a Spider-Spider, not exactly sure :D

Instructions to Build a Spider-Spider

Let’s get building! So as I said, we are starting with the part that inspired this cute little fellow, the red shell/clam piece from 10329 Tiny Plants set.

You can download the full parts list for the Spider-Spider here and import it directly to BrickLink. (Parts lists are an XML file that can be uploaded to BrickLink or Stud.io.)

(As an aside, I had and I still have serious issues logging in my BrickLink account after the merger, so best of luck to everyone dealing with the same issues!)

My girlfriend hates spiders and is really afraid of them, but this guy is her favorite!
